We had listed our house for sale with a different agent and had it on the market for around four months and we failed to sell it. We pulled our listing when winter came around and decided to relist in the spring. We considered relisting with four different agents, and we ultimately decided to give the Joe and Cindy team a chance. An exceptional realtor, and it was a pleasure to partner with her throughout the entire home buying process. To start, my husband and I live out of state and our goal was to help our son and daughter-in-law buy their first home. Since they had recently become new parents for a second son, the thought and time to go out looking at homes was overwhelming. Why? Well, I've been watching the SOLD's and I know for a fact that I got top dollar for my townhome. How did I get TOP DOLLAR$$$? (I wanted a wonderful family to buy my house, Top Dollar$$$, closing on my time line, and no surprises!) 5) Circle back to #1 - I did what the professionals suggested! My home went on the market on a Thursday afternoon and was under contract for full asking price and closing on my time schedule (I was heading to Europe for a couple of weeks) within 72 hours! The tough part of selling my home was the décor. I have very strong (not midwestern) taste in color, art and décor. I was worried that buyers would not like my style and that I needed to have everything painted and new flooring - you know the drill. My agent (Beth) assured me that it wasn't necessary and if I did a little paint repair, and a few other things I'd be just fine - she was right.
